Brand New Puzzler 'Doroppu' Drops Onto Sega Mega Drive

What happens when you mix Puzzle Bobble, Puyo Puyo, and Tetris? Well, apart from a massive mound of multi-coloured blocks, bubbles and blobs, you'll end up with an all new homebrew puzzler for the Mega Drive. Doroppuis the latest title to hit Sega's 16-bit system, one which perfectly blends a variety of puzzle games into a unique twist - something which can now be enjoyed through the game's free downloadable ROM.

Recently released by homebrew developers Repixel8, their all new tile-matching puzzle is one of the first and few aftermarket releases to support split-screen multiplayer action in style. Also offering an addictive single player mode too, Doroppu will have puzzle fans all around the world rekindling their love for the genre through its slowly increasing difficulty curve and multi-coliured mayhem.

Although released for free online as a downloadable Mega Drive ROM, Repixel8 are also looking to give Doroppu a physical cartridge release in the near future. While we await the all important details as to how you can get your hands on a copy, be sure to check out this fantastic little title either in a Mega Drive emulator or on the original hardware using an Everdrive flash cartridge.
