Microsoft is starting to look for developers for Windows 10 Holographs.

In particular, they are searching for development talent for their Hololens product.

Today, from its @Hololens Twitter account, Microsoft played up 106 job openings for HoloLens development.

The jobs ranged from software engineers and lab managers to program and social media managers.

Here’s the Tweet.

Here’s what Microsoft said as part of the job description.
“Are you passionate about trailblazing new experiences and empowering people across the globe? Do you want to be one of the first pioneers to usher in the next evolution in computing on Microsoft’s new holographic platform? We’re looking for seasoned veterans to join our team and drive game-changing software in entertainment, productivity, and tools for consumer, enterprise, and commercial experiences.”
The timing of this is interesting.

Microsoft have stated that Windows 10 will be out this summer and ready for release.

If they’re starting the big Hololens development push now, we can probably extrapolate that Windows Holographic will probably launch quite some time after Windows 10 is released to the public.

It does sound like this could be an exciting new field so those of you who are looking for some bleeding edge experience should probably apply for these jobs.

Stay tuned…
