Windows 10 Build 10051 leaks � not a surprise

Windows 10 Build 10051 has absolutely leaked.

As we have seen with the release notes, there is nothing much to see here.

Despite the change log, it does look like there are new mail and calendar apps in this release.

The latest official release from Microsoft was build 10049 so this isn’t far removed from it.

Apparently, most of the changes have been made under the hood, as Microsoft has used this build to fix, improve and optimize the various facets of the operating system. A bunch of critical bug fixes have made the cut.

There are also some enhancements that make upgrades from Windows 8.1 to the Windows 10 Technical Preview a fair bit faster and less of a buggy experience.
A version of the Spartan browser is, of course, also included.

But the only major updated item is that the file picker used in apps in the current versions of the OS has been dropped in favor of a more traditional file dialog box.

No indication right now when Microsoft will release this version to Windows Insiders. It could be that we may even get it as an unofficial leak, this build, but with the company promising releases at a fast pace, a build like this might be here in the next couple of weeks.

Provided no major bugs are found.
