Microsoft have fixed two widespread bugs in Windows 10 build 10049, and this preview version of the operating system now has two updates in waiting to be deployed.

These are KB3053902 and KB3053898.

Delivery is via the standard Windows Update channel that is used for delivering bug fixes, patches and other such updates to the operating system. So if you are a fast ring user and are running build 10049, then make sure you update your installation.

The first of these, KB3053902 fixes a bug in Outlook that prevents the email client from indexing new emails, which is a rather critical issue for those running Windows 10 as their main OS.

And the second one is aimed at Hyper-V.

Microsoft came to know of a bug that prevent the enabling of this feature in build 10049.
