The real return of the king! Microsoft may have brought back the Start Menu in Windows 10, but that’s old news. It appears that another popular feature of the OS may also be mounting a return.
Solitaire, the classic card game.
Screenshots posted by Russian leaker WZor suggest that this game is reintroduced in Windows 10, and could actually be installed by default in Windows 10 — thereby bringing back Solitaire to the operating system, albeit with that modern touch.
Take a look at the images below:
Obviously, Solitaire Collection is a Modern app that Microsoft released for Windows 8, allowing users of the operating system (and fans of the game) play it on touch enabled hardware.
Windows 10, however, bundles this game and preinstalls it on all devices.
The game is in the preview stage right now in Windows 10 build 10059, which has just leaked. Making for quite a return for the company after it removed all games from the previous two versions of the operating system.
In case you want a taste of modern Solitaire without installing this new build, you can grab the popular game from the Windows Store here and play it in Windows 8.1.
