Fly feeding

This is the first fly I've seen feeding on the laurel this year - the flowers are insignificant but do attract plenty of insects for some reason. The wind wasn't helping and the sharpness is 100%.

Late afternoon, sun going away behind the houses, so flash has to be used and that is indeed causing the black backgrounds.
