New laptop sub £250

Right fellas
Wife has had a MacBook for years and it's only just gone and packed in.
Thankfully she doesn't want another MacBook but is quite happy using my work laptop which is a Lenovo X1 carbon.

So looking for something for her so I can get my work done.
Requirements must be reasonable spec with a bit of future proofing.
Any body give any recommendations at all??

£250 isn't an easy price point to meet, anything new would most likely be poor quality, seeing as she already likes a Lenovo I would suggest these, the T430 should come with 1 year+ manufacturers warranty too:
