can anyone tell me how do i get rid of an item called luckysearches from my computer it has taken over google and firefox and even after following instructions it's still there .Is ther a quick way of getting rid of this invasive item

As well as Malwarebytes give ADWcleaner a go. Its great for removing this kind of crap. Be sure to set your browser back to default settings afterwards as well and if you are using Chrome make sure to check the settings page and extensions page as a lot of these kinds of Malware will install themselves there.
