Default Pipo 7" Windows 8.1 / Android device

Something a bit different, basically a tablet in a box but has HDMI out, Network in etc...

    http://www.gearbest.com/tv-box/pp_18...wuY29tfDI1Mzg=

Works out at £80 which is a decent price if it works! No screen resolution listed, I expect 1280 x 720 or something similar.
But for a portable device which you can set up then plug into the TV with Kodi etc.. Not bad! Even as a little server hidden away with it's own screen when you want to maintain it.

*Edit* I say portable.. Portable as in move from room to room, house to house and then plug into a power source as I imagine it has no battery.

Doesn't seem to be a touchscreen which would have made it nice as a controller for things I.e. Home automation with that as the central unit/display/control. Also quite an old CPU in it.

    Thanks to blacksheep

Good point! The specs are vague to say the least.
I do not need a powerhouse to do what I want, but this is looking more like a £40-£50 product to me now and not a good deal as previously thought.

    *Edit*

Could not find it on Pipo's site, but I have found this:

    http://www.slashgear.com/pipo-x8-min...e-pc-21380022/

Turns out it is touchscreen with a 1024x600 resolution.

Ah ok - still think the first picture they show is misleading, makes it look flat.
