    free WIP: National Lottery Software

    http://www.gofiles.co.uk/LOTTables.zip

this is a wip (work in progress), ive yet to add code to block out sequential numbers which will cut the odds of winning by more than half. also going to add ability to print out the sheets you can take to the newsagents to put numbers on any one of the lotteries.

anyone have any ideas for features let me know and if possible I will try to implement.

again this is a work in progress so keep checking back for updates

Cheers for this mate, any chance of the program having a more methodical number choice rather than just a random one?

By that i mean maybe it could choose from past draws, more of a historical choice, and generate numbers likely to be drawn, i had a lottery program that did this once.

I'll see you right if i win

    Looking good

    Will it have muliple lines

some features i have not seen often or at all in any other program are

the option to choose certain numbers to be included/excluded in each line

the option to choose equal amouts of odd /even numbers..never seen this but it would be great
the percentage of draws with 3 odd 3 even is high.

eliminate a selected number of sequential numbers...(covered)]

ability to store each draws numbers in a database so you can refer to it
i do this alot and favour numbers that have not been out in a few draws
and avoid numbers that have been out often

I'll see you alright to fella

    thanks

When the lottery first started in the UK I used to do wheeling systems which covers certain amount of balls with a certain amount of lines

    Full explanation here....... http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lottery_wheeling

Not sure if you want to include that.

You asked for ideas hence my post but I would never bet on the lottery now due to the unbelievable odds, just not worth it in my opinion.

    Thanks to Rhinoz

Not looked at this yet as I'm at work still, but does it have a button to just give the six winning numbers?

    Would be a handy feature.

How about for fun a ten question set at random. Ie first house number, how old when you first got a women's menstrual blood on your face, how many fingers you fit inside your first broad. It uses the answers to generate random numbers based on you.

ill look into all those yes

@blacksheep of course they have but the odds of 1,2,3,4,5,6 coming out in succession are so high even howard marks could not supply enough dope to keep it that high. so I give people the option of removing those types of numbers, in effect cutting odds right down instantly

The odds of 1,2,3,4,5,6 are just as likely as any other random set of numbers between 1 and 49. The main reason to avoid this sequence is that it's estimated that 10,000 people choose this sequence.
