Manchester - Stag - need a daytime activity + speech!!!

Hi guys,

I am putting together a stag do for my mate and we are hitting manchester, now i have booked a casino for a 2 hour poker session from 16:00 until 18:00 which is the main activity people wanted but we will need something to do during the day.
I was thinking perhaps a Brewery trip or something similar? basically the go-karting, paintball etc. ideas are out the window as no-one seems particularly up for those as we did similar on another recent stag do.

Anyone got any suggestions of a good daytime activity?

P.s. i also have to write a speech and im getting nowhere, any hints, tips, good reads etc. please send em over!

General mooch around the northern quarter will take an afternoon lots of pubs and bars etc.

I'm not sure where it all went wrong but I've not been into a titty bar on a stag do for years now - that used to be on every one years ago!
