    Poll Anger management

I listened to a very interesting BBC podcast on the way in this morning about the subject of 'Anger'

Are you one of these people that needs to let rip every so often or else you'll bust a vessel, or are you super chilled and difficult to get riled up?

I'm personally in the second camp and find it very difficult to get truly angry about anything. Sometimes I will manufacture outrage just to fit in with the group, but in my heart I'm just not that bothered to get pissed-off over what is usually insignificant nonsense.

My missus on the other hand is a very temperamental Spaniard who is often exasperated with me and accuses me of lacking emotion or not caring, but that's clearly not true as I can get very emotional and feel huge compassion towards my fellow human beings.

Anyway, just thought I'd throw this open for a poll.

I put once or twice a week, but it's a bit vague.

Define losing your temper? I don't start having a hissy fit and smashing things up. It's usually just calling someone out for being a cunt (and being a cunt myself at the same time)

Edit: Sexy beast is a fantastic film

You know he grew up as a little shitspark from the old shitflint and then he turned into a shitbonfire and driven by the winds of his monumental ignorance he turned into a raging shitfirestorm. If I get to be married to Barb I'll have total control of Sunnyvale and then I can unleash the shitnami tidal wave that will engulf Ricky and extinguish his shitflames forever. And with any luck he'll drown in the undershit of that wave. Shitwaves.

I use to but I've slowly realised over the last few years that the standard now is that no one gives a dam.

Even professional people who back in the day did care seem to have fallen into the don't give a dam, or just go through the motions.

Once I accepted this is the new game rules I stopped getting angry and adapted accordingly.

I'm exactly the same. I sometimes wish I didn't drive, I get so incensed. I can't even put it down to my age, I've always been short-tempered behind the wheel.

I don't often lose it, less so as I've got older, when I was younger I found football and Rugby League a great way to release any pent up aggresion.

I don't. I don't agree with boxing clubs etc. that claim to take youths off the street and teach them discipline. What they're actually doing is teaching people anger issues how to use they're bodies in a more violent/lethal way.

I can't really talk about boxing as when I was younger I was a lot larger/heavier than most kids my age - this put me off boxing as I would probably be put against kids a lot older than me. (I know that makes me sound a but of a pussy, but when I did karate I started against kids my age until the gap was slowly widened whilst I know boxing is all about weights).

However I found rugby to be a great release for the week's stress and anger when I played from about 11-18.

I'm in the hissy fit camp, I don't smash anything I go a bit drama queen.

Lots of things piss me off, mainly on the road whilst driving/riding as there are some massive idiots out there.
