    It just shows what joke the whole thing is. He will be around to arrange his successor. He was a politician who secured his votes with the smaller nations and regions. Ironically we can come out of this with our heads held high. Although it saved Platini from having to boycott the world cup.... I just hope none of his cronies take his place.

    I'm not defending the guy or FIFA but it would appear that he has done a lot of good developing footy in a lot of the poorer countries. Having said that, I'm sure a lot of the money ear marked for that purpose found it's way elsewhere.
