Just been on with none emerg ambulance, they're sending an ambo round.

I already have a tear in either side of my meniscus, they said it sounds like further tear and further acl damage.

    Thanks to BigBrand

Well after a few hours, went hospital.

Part of my Meniscus has broken off from the tear and stuck itself between the knee ACL and the tibia, which is causing the knee to be locked. That's why I can't move the cunt.

They said they can't do anything as Op in 2 weeks, so sent me home on crutches for two fucking weeks.

    UGH!

    Meniscus ?!?!?

You have a tear in either side ????

Don't know what it is but sounds like rough sex to me.

"I fucked the Mrs for 8 hours last night.. I tore either side of my Meniscus and and my tibia is swollen as a result, good times"

Is that all they can do for you ???? Experiencing so much poor NHS treatment (not for me) this last year. Some real eye openers.

Other than some pain killers yeah, as my surgery already booked. Wish I had private healthcare, fucking worth it in times like this.

I know what you mean. Me Mam had OP recently that was booked in, she went in about 6 times for OP and each time it was cancelled as an "emergency" came in. Finally got it done after about 8 weeks of failed visits and being prep'd for an op that kept not happening. For someone in their 70s I think that is shocking treatment especially at what is claimed to be one of the countries best hospitals (bath royal) and was a very routine simple procedure.

I hope yours is in and out

Well op was done this morning. Condiments acl reconstruction via hamstring graft and they've repaired the meniscus both sides I believe.

Currently sat on hospital bed coming round after the general. Feel drowsy as fuck and nodding off.

Physio starts now. Not got any pain killers yet from them. Still waiting in the local from the actual knee to wear off.

    Ha!

Sorry missed this, was in Trafford General MEOC or something.

Let me out same day, as I was first in.

Couple of questions if I can, I know from reading all your advice that physio is so important.

Q: How hard should I go on the physio?

I'm in a fair bit of pain currently, and my movement feels extremely limited at the moment. I can flatten the knee out straight as much as the bandage allows me to, but lying on my back and trying to either: Raise my leg flat from the ground up 20cm, is impossible, and sitting in a chair, and trying to bring the knee in from sat 120 degrees into 90 degrees (normal sitting position).

The pain is unreal when trying to bend the leg inwards, I presume this will just get a little easier every day?

I wasn't told how often to do the exercised, but I'm aiming for three times a day, is that too little or too much?

    Hi
Ah that hospital is not on my list... Nearest to you are Bolton Hospital and Preston hospital that I visit - lucky you.

Bandage came off today. Replaced my plasters, feel great not having wrapped up so tightly.

Will get some images uploaded shortly.
