    Default Anyone make software?

Emailed Det, but was wondering if anyone knew if this is possible? I would pay someone to do it.

basically, now that I have a baby, ive been taking pictures of her face everyday using an app on android called Photochron, in order to eventually compile them after a few years to make a timelapse.

Photochron allows you to overlay a semi-transparent image of the last photo you have taken onto the camera screen, in order for you to align the images correctly.
The problem for me is that I go offshore every other month, and I take my android phone with me. I leave it up to my wife to take daily photos of the baby's face using a standard point and shoot camera with a black oval marked on the camera’s screen, therefore her images aren't as perfectly aligned as mine.

Im after a piece of software where I can load up all the images I've taken so far, and individually align them manually according to a set template. The other issue I have is that the resolution between the phones camera and the point and shoot, the camera phone being the higher resolution of the two.

So I would load all the photos into the software. Displayed in a menu down the right hand side. I would then drag and drop a image into the “template screen” (the positions of the eyes, nostrils and mouth would be dependent on the position of my babies features, but I assume this would be easy to extrapolate from any of the photos I have taken so far). Once aligned I would click save and that photo would be cropped to the smaller size resolution, if that makes sense? Due to increased pixellation when resizing small to large.

Photoshop can do all you are asking and more using layers, with a bit of experience you will also be able to record actions to to do many of the tasks

    Thanks to Bald Bouncer

cheers for doing this for me lads. a bit more specific info on whats needed

Ok, so upon opening the program there will be a load button, where you can select all .jpg’s taken and load them into a menu on the right hand side, sorted in order by file name.

To the left of that will be a preview box to fit photos of a resolution of 810 x 1080 portrait style, ill explain why in a minute, with a black outline of an oval face template overlayed on it.
The position of the features of the overlay (ie eyes, nostrils and mouth can be taken from any of the photos I have taken so far).

Once the photos are loaded, you can simply drag and drop any of them (I plan on doing them all manually) onto the preview box, the photo will then be displayed in the box. You will then align / resize the face in the photo to that of the black template, upon doing this you can then hit crop, which will crop the image to 810x 1080 – the photos I have are 3936x5248 so should be easy to crop so the smaller 810 x 1080 size.

The reason why I chose 810x 1080 is that not all the photos are going to be aligned correctly – some faces will be off the right, some to the left, etc, and there will be some wastage, it also gives a lot of wiggle room in aligning the photos to the face template. By choosing a smaller size resolution I can assure that all the photos will be aligned correctly. I hope that makes sense?

meant to add : the preview box should have the ability to scale/resize any images that are too big/too small so you can align them to the black outline face, the difference in sizes arent massive ........ just noticeable when compiled in a timelapse.

    Thanks to CallmeGoose
