    Default Today's job

So I get a call from an old boy saying his mouse no longer works. Simple I thought, ha ha. Picked up the box which weighed about 15kg and look what we have...

This is a bitch of a job now. Can't get any mouse to install usb or ps/2. Can't get usb stick with any drivers to be recognised, also cant copy files across to usb stick for this reason. Can navigate a bit with keyboard but not easliy.

Took the hard drive out, thought sod it, copy docs and pics off and be done with it. Drive isn't readable when hooked up to another pc.

    Grrrr.

Cant you just stick an xp disk in and give him a free upgrade, might be the quickest solution ;-)

not thought of that. If i could get a bloody mouse to instal i'd be happy.
I'd probably end up losing all the data knowing how this thing is going if i try to put XP on it.

Ha, finally got a mouse to work, connector from mobo to the ps/2 input is knackered, a bit of wiggling and some super glue is holding it in.

Now though, discover none of the bloody usb ports work. Well, neither of the 2 usb ports work. Sounds like i've got a bloddy Jumbo jet under my desk.

Then thought i'd hook up to the web and upload files to my google drive. Bloody NIC isn't working.

    lol.
