BMW 320I E90 White Smoke

I just recently bought a BMW a few days ago test drive went sweet inspected everything top to bottom no problems at all. I went away for a few days when I started the car i seen white smoke I thought that ats normal as it went away after a few seconds . But when i put it in first gear to get ready to take of it does it everytime. Anyone any ideas. I got my mate to take a video of it .

If it's only when you first start it and drive then it'll be condensation from the exhaust.

If I'm driving and I come to a stop and go to take of that's the way it goes. only in 1st gear it seams I'm gona use the rest of the petrol thats in it and put some BP ultimate in to see if that makes a difference.

If it concerns you at all go back to the garage and complain so at least there is some record of your complaint. So if the issue does progress and get worse, they will find it harder to say the problem wasn't there from the start.

Deffo make a record as above. White smoke can possibly mean head gasket. Everyone thinks you get the spunky/mayo mixture in your oil but that is not always the case it can be the start of it and Coolant can be getting into the combustion chamber causing white smoke and this is more apparent in first/second gear.

If your coolant is not going down then it is probably condensation as mentioned.

The Garage is 60 miles away I wouldn't be able to make it to the weekend . Although i did phone them they said they would phone me back surprise surprise they never. Yeah it only seems to happen when taking off on 1st gear it doesn't happen at start up or sitting idle. I also took extended warranty . It's now recorded its not like it's a back street garage it's a proper dealer he has a few 100k cars on the forcourt.

Forgot about this . I brought the car to them they said it was an oil seperater so they replaced it and done a full oil change . 100 miles later oil light comes on phoned him back told him its burning oil like fuck and shouldnt be doing that. He has the car for the last 10 days and said he can find the problem I should be having a word with them tomorrow . to see what the fuck i keeping him .
