Media player for live TV revo?

My folks are using a laptop to watch TV in Portugal, but the problem is they need to use the laptop.
they need something to watch BBC, ITV, 4, 5, Maybe plex too.
So I'm after a small unit like an acer revo maybe?

let me know what you have and price please.

I've picked up one of the above, just updated to the latest 10 beta and its faultless for Plex and Sky go, not to mention Xbox one streaming. its been added to my bag as my new travel toy amazing given the footprint....

What's it like using live TV stations because that's what it will be mainly used for.
did you buy the stick or the box type?

Cant go wrong with one of these beauties http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/M8-N-ANDRO...item19e023d2e5 I have 2 of them. Android, Kodi, Cartoon HD, Sky HD (replaced HD cinema), Plex all work perfectly and for uk freeview you can use catchup tv or one of the many Android apps. More then likely you will need to setup a UK VPN if you are in Portugal but if you use Kodi for Freeview you might not need the VPN. £55 is a bargain, you just need to add a cheapo mouse/keyboard and away you go.

would a sky now tv box do the job, especially with plex. has all the on demand & Only £10
not sure about iptv stuff on it as my vip ran out & aint had any updated info for a while from the plex/iptv section

i have a dell optiplex fx160 intel atom with 2gb ram 50gb hard drive if any good looking fro £40 inc P&P

Stick the filmon add-on onto your plex server channels and you have live TV through the nowtv box

I've got an old aver revo 3600 that I could let go if interested mate.
Think it needs a power supply but can throw in keyboard and mouse

It runs plex not a problem I'm sure it is currently loaded with windows 7 or vista at least.
I used it for plex and other plugins

I would say £45 delivered

It's got Xbmc and plex on it but if you change the OS that would obviously need re done.

I can send pics late on fella out just now but it basically looks like the standard 3600 just no base plate
