This whole invite shtick is nothing more than clever marketing, sorry guys but they can fuck off with their cynical ploy.
There is actually no reason to have this lottery system, manufacturing capacity in China is almost infinite. If they really are making the best phone at the best price, then put it on the market and let market forces decide.

I have the OPO, and it's brilliant as it is.

The initial stuff I've read about the new Oxygen OS hasn't been exactly great - the hardware sounds nice enough though.
Prices announced are £239/£289 for 16gb/32gb

Well the OnePlus Two is a major disappointment! Glad I didn't wait up! No NFC :@

I had a problem with NFC when it was switched on - on mine, it kept going off constantly .. wound me right fuckin up till I figured out it was that so I never use it anyway.

I can't justify spending the money on a +2 when my +1 works more than fine otherwise already.
Is NFC important? I think it's a dead horse now... You can buy NFC tags if you were that desperate to be in with the NFC crowd..
Are all Android phones not hitting a wall now? They are all upto the job in terms of speed, it seems that people are only concerned about the cameras and customised UI's - surely one phone is capable of doing all the UI's ? After all Android is not locked down and fully customisable unlike an iPhone right?

Agree about NFC. Don't see the fuss at all. Yes Android is customisable and there are tonnes of Projects such as CyanogenMod, Paranoid Android all with different features goals. Some lightweight, some full of features.
You can kind of pick and choose the ROM you want to run and if you don't like it. try another.
Not all phones are capable of all Versions of Android though. I suppose it is down to the ROM that released when the hardware was released. Although on paper they should run any version it is down to Manufacturer/Project/Geek to make a ROM and release it. You can make your own too with all the info floating about.
I need NFC for wireless charging

I thought wireless charging was more scientific than using NFC...
Is it that essential though? How did you manage before wireless charging..

I was position 62K at one point, seems those with the OPO get priority.
I think it looks great, I got an S6 Edge to replace my iPhone 6 and was again let down by TW. Look forward to trying the OPT with the carbon fibre style rear.
Two colleagues have the OPO and love it.
i just googled one plus two, first result is : 3
I may get one of these, how did the original hold up after months of use? I always feel cheaper brands start to look like shit after a few months. Oddly enough no fucker knows anything about the one plus phones here in China so I've never seen one in the wild, although there are scores of Xaiomi phones here that all look like crap after a while.
