Hi everyone
I am a retired ships engineer I retired on the 7th July 2015, I have recently taken up electronics, which in all fairness is something that is new to me.
I was an old fashion hammer and oily rag engineer, I left the electronics to the younger up and coming engineers. If they couldn't find and repair the
the fault the manufactures were brought in.
I have fixed a few radios, toasters, and vacuum cleaners since I have been home from sea, but I want to start to get to grips with defective TV's, which
friends have asked me to fix, I have all the relative measuring meters and I know how to use them. But It's good to find out what steps to take and where to start.
