kickass has a UltraHD section, well, it has 2, movies and porn but there's not a great deal in either unsurprisingly.

Netflix is where I go for 4K stuff and I think there are a few different movies depending on which region you choose. I find it amazingly funny that I can get my hands on as much 4K porn as I want but mainstream films - no way.

I have seen some upsampled stuff but that's not really what I want - I find it crazy that things like Avengers Assemble or Ultron or the latest Hobbit films just aren't available anywhere. Pure madness. I know that there is a 400GB HDD that Samsung have available for their flagship 4K TV's with about 10 4K films on, but I downloaded it anyway for shits and giggles, knowing full well that it was encrypted and had no joy with that at all.

Oh and don't bother with Tears of Steel - total rubbish.

    Thanks to crazyal

Just bought a 4k screen myself. Not even taken it out of the box yet but am looking forward to seeing stuff in 4k. It'll happen sooner or later.

I use IronSocket for my DNS changes and Proxy setups. Simply authorise your outbound IP with them, put their DNS settings into your TV's network settings and job done. Samsung TV's are a piece of piss to setup. You can then change to any region you like.

Did any of that make sense? If not, just go off to https://ironsocket.com/ and setup an account for a month to try it. Once you've done it get back to me and I'll help you through it.

Netflix US has FAR more stuff available - look here for a comparison.

I used this code last month BESTVPNSAVER to get 25% off for a 12 month plan. Works out to be about £2 a month.

    Hang on I'll check...

EDIT - Yep GB 1 & 2 are gone for sure. Who the fuck wants to see Godzilla in 4K - and it's not even the new one, its the one from 1998 with that tit Broderick.

Thank you for waiting! I have just confirmed this. The Smurfs 2 and Ghostbusters 2 movies were removed because the license we had to stream it expired. We are constantly working on improving our licensing agreements and bring more content more quickly to our customers, and although it is not always possible, we try our best to renew these licenses so they're not removed. In this case, I'll be glad to take your feedback. We know that you're dying to watch these movies again!

Waste of money I'm afraid, they're struggling with just HD channels at the moment and most people haven't even upgraded from DVD to blu-ray, let alone Ultra HD blu-ray.

I'd take it back if you can.

ah ok yeh tv wise only the major channels are HD, if you only got a 15 inch tv then yeh dvds will look just fine, but with 40+ inch tvs being so cheap and affordable to the masses now you realy don't want to be watching dvds on it, hence the need for bluray, and now with 65+ getting cheaper youll need 4k to keep it looking good
