Hi Guys,

Can I have honest feedback about my new business website please the main website is fully responsive and the client area is partially responsive [work in progress]. But other than that, what does everyone think?

I don't like the typing gif in the background its like a spider crawling in and also is way too short and just keeps jumping back to the beginning looks glitch better with something that's smooth so can tell when it restarts.

Other than that it looks very professional, where do I sign up hehe ;-)

Agree with removing the background gif.

also the italics for 'Affordable and reliable' should not be italicised.

Also i would just say Business rather than Businesses.

Unfortunately the animated backgrounds are 'The Future' - As much as they may not be liked, they do make the site feel alive and current.

Change the italic font, if you want to emphasize these points then make them bold or a different colour.
I am using chrome, when I click 'Get Started' and I get to the Place new order screen, the text box for a new domain is almost like a list box.
Also when I press Get Started and it takes me to the said screen, I feel like I am being forced to place an order as if I have already made a decision. Most folk will want to click through to take a look. If it is intentional then change the text to 'Order Now' maybe?
I tried to search for ddd.com and it was just looping round. When I put something sensible in it came straight back. Maybe put some timeouts in?

On the main screen, the question marks under the choices don't seem right to me. Maybe actual 'More Info' text would work better?

Also in Chrome the 'Order Now' button has overlapping text. Capture.PNG

If you keep trying to add discount codes, it stacks the error message.

I am no UX expert, but these are my views on what I have scratched the surface of. Plenty of other visual things, text that should not be there etc.. but I am sure you are aware.

I do like the animated backgrounds say of the Paypal site. I just think this one is too short and keeps jumping back to the beginning, like a stuck record.

Morning!

Just taken a look and here is a few thoughts:

Far too much going on with the main page, personally i would reduce the size dramatically and split off to other parts of the site for more information on each part, i would try to make it 1/3 of its current size.

Main page is very text heavy, reduce as much as you can and stick with the icons then have them click for more information.
- Stick with the Rapid server speed icon parts but remove the perfect for business boxes and have them on their own page
- Move the customer reviews to their own section
- I am not a fan of the white boxes at the top with the domain name info etc. i would again remove them and replace with an image
- remove the building image (hub) and keep it on the contact us / about us page
- have a simple link for the rewards page rather than the long bar on the main page

Move the Images (NHS, University of Plymouth etc.) onto a white background so they flow a little better.

When clicking on the Domain Names > Bulk Domains etc. - not sure Salmon is the best colour choice for the background - not a great colour lol i would stick to the white/blue/black/red themes you have on the other pages


the rest of the site pages i think look really good

Don’t get me wrong I’m no web designer but this bit looks awful.
It reminds me of a dead domain with all the crappy links,

the blue doesn’t work well with the white below and the white boxes are not aligned you probably have a rogue <br> In there somewhere.
I’m not a fan of reviews either, too many fake reviews and to easy to put your own fake ones on.

Overall it’s a nice theme and loads well on my iPad and phone but colours are off and too much info on one page makes it a little overwhelming.

Ran my own hosting company years ago.

The front page is bright clear yes but too much and to much info, the front page should hold details that catches the potential buyers interest and then split the areas that your selling up into other pages, makes it simple.

Reviews look ok but as stated above they can be faked and people tend to take no interest in them so I would remove them and clean the pages up/remove info that’s not needed.

KISS - Keep It Simple Stupid comes to mind and they are true words even in 2022.
