Default How to charge for time when working away?

I was wondering how others billed for their time when they were working away? I might be working abroad for 2-3 days and have been asked to quote the labour cost, they are covering transport and accommodation. I wasn't sure if all time was billed for but hours not spent on the job were discounted or if a flat day rate that is increased to reflect the time away from home. Any ideas on what premium to add would be great.

    Thanks

I'd put my flat day rate, plus 50%.

It's not being greedy it's for inconvenience. If it was in the Middle East I'd double my day rate.
