So I have these two blank files appearing on the desktop and every time I delete them they reappear shortly after.
Did a virus scan and nothing found..
Any ideas?

It could be you've unchecked 'Hide protected operating system files', they could be you desktop.ini files.
go to my computer, file explorer or whatever it's called these days.
select your desktop folder, then click file, 'change folder and search options', click on 'view' tab and then you'll see if this box is unchecked. click on restore defaults and see if that fixes it.

Nope. Not the desktop ini files.....

Apparently this bug only effects 'cunts' !!!! :-)

Fucks sake.... How did Microsoft find out I was a cunt. I turned off all the spying stuff.

First thing I would suggest is to run chkdsk.
Then if that doesn't work, maybe an idea to open a CMD prompt as admin, then navigate to c:\users\NAME OF AFFECTED USER\desktop
Then dir to see if the problem files are listed with a filename.
If you get a filename, then run "type DODGY.FILENAME" and the contents should come up, if it's too much to read in one go, then "type DODGY.FILENAME > DODGY.txt" and it will save the contents to a text file.
This all assumes you want to see wtf is in those files.
