IS have crippled Brussels without firing a single shot or setting off any explosives. They only need to make the authorities think that they are going to do something and they could bring the capital cities across the whole of Europe to a standstill. If They do this in the weeks leading up to Christmas then it will cost retailers Billions in lost revenue and could even shut the doors of many of our high street shops for good. (">

Belgian police launch a series of terror-related operations as the country's PM warns of a "serious and imminent" threat.
Schools, universities and the Metro in Brussels will remain closed on Monday, with Belgium's Prime Minister fearing "an attack like in Paris". Charles Michel told reporters the city's terror alert status would remain at the highest level amid a "serious and imminent" threat.
Police launched several raids linked to the "terrorist threat" in Brussels on Sunday night but asked the media not to disclose details. The operations are now over and a news conference is expected at 11pm UK time Belgium has been at the centre of investigations into the Paris attacks after it emerged that two of the suicide bombers lived in the poor district of Molenbeek.
Police are hunting for "several suspects" that could strike Brussels including fugitive suspect Salah Abdeslam, who officers in France believe to be the eighth Paris terrorist. A police source fears that Abdeslam, who is said to have travelled from Paris to Belgium shortly after the French massacre of 130 people, could be "trapped and desperate" in Brussels. Earlier, Interior Minister Jan Jambon told Belgian TV station VRT: "This is several suspects, which is why we have introduced such a concentration of resources. "We are following the situation minute by minute. There is no point in trying to hide it. There is a real threat, but we are making every effort day and night to cope with this situation."
