Think I agree about the 5" limit. But then they tempt you by making a 5.5" device and you find yourself thinking "it's only half an inch, it'll be ok"

What makes you prefer Cubot over Elephone? been very happy with my P6000.

Elephone have lied about the specs of the P6000 and the GPS on mine it so shit it's not even worth trying to use it, the WiFi is piss poor. Mobile signal sometimes goes from 75% to nothing just by picking it up.

These look decent for the money, what is the software like? I love both Android and iOS but struggle with anything other than stock Android.

@ ss30 I reckon you must have had a dodgy one ss30. Gps fine on my 6000. Wifi very good and have no signal issues. Try different ROM to see if software issues.

@ Brydo Software fine on mine, tried a different ROM but had an issue so went back to Stock Android 5. All does what is says on the tin imho

The huge display on the 7000 is really great & I will miss it when I change in about a year or so. However, I would think carefully about whether to buy another elephone. They have more or less dropped support in favour of the newer models and this has only been out six months. They even called it their "flagship" model

@piggzy already tried different ROMs .if you read the elephone forums their are a lot of ppl pissed off with the P6000, it was also advertised as having OTG which only works if you use a powered USB hub!!!

The only thing wrong with the X16&17 is they use a 1.3mhz quad core CPU the X6 had a 1.7mhz octo core
