    Help Selling vinyl records advice

    Afternoon all,

I've built up a collection over the years of garage, hiphop, drum and bass, house, trance records and now just want to get rid.

I've got about 400 vinyl, some never been out the sleeve, some bought secondhand off radio dj's so playable but not the best lookers.

    I've got two questions:

1:the best way to ship / package records (probably gonna offer internationally postage but mainly uk mail)?

2: any sites that make it easy, cheap and are better suited for selling records as opposed to ebay?

    Thanks in advance

    Thanks to Spike2k1

The best place to sell them is https://www.discogs.com/

Don't suppose you have a list of the drum and bass ones do you as know a few people that would probably have them off you and any hardcore 93/94

The only problem with discogs is some people are very greedy and demand stupid money for some tunes

I get cardboard boxes from the supermarkets and cut them up to match the sleeve sizes then just tape two sides together with the record / sleeve inside, put the record and sleeve into a plastig back or something to stop it getting stuck to any of the tape. Depending on value I send via 1st class recorded or special delivery within the UK - outside of the UK I send via Royal Mail international signed for and sometimes tracked as well as it somehow seems to work out cheaper.

Also I have sold a lot of records on ebay, never has any issues.

Get some 'Do not bend' stickers. They don't bend well.

When I had my vinyl clear out I bought 12" record postage sleeves off of eBay and they where great.
Could hold up to 4/5 discs max but.
Prezzy's idea is also spot on.
