    Default CCTV Help

Not sure if this was the right place, but couldn't find the right sub to put it in.

To cut along story short, my mate had his abs cable cut on his car, he doesn't get on with his neighbour who he thought might have done it. After closer inspection he found a long grey hair hanging from underneath. The old boy has a long grey pony tail.

He has cctv but it's a Chinese bag of shit that you wouldn't put in a dog kennel let alone a home.

When you try to log-in, it ask's for a password, of which he can't remember. The unit is a Dowson 7604ED I've tried emailing dowson with no joy and ggogle throws nothing of any help.

Is there a way of extracting the footage straight off the hard drive ?

Might not help now, but front and rear dash cams on high sensitivity may have caught anyone bumping the car while cutting the pipe.

    Thanks to consoles

This is what it makes it harder, the model throws up so many different models etc. The actual log-in is this. It ask for a device id and then a password of which is only numerical.
