I actually thought Prometheus was alright. Granted it's not a patch on the first two Alien films, but I really don't understand why everyone hates it so much.

prometheus was fine until they bought Damon Lindelof on board to help "rewrite" the script - by that he took out all the stuff that connected it to the Alien franchise and added all the bullshit that was never explained - cock!
according to him he doesnt like to give answers and let people think about it for themselves (i.e. he has good ideas but no idea how to do it cohesively into a fully fledged story) - cant stand the prick

hopefully they will go the right way with this one, keep it like Alien or Aliens - either is fine, Alien 3 is also good but please god nothing like Alien Resurrection!

I actually like all of the Alien films, in the rough order Aliens, Alien, Alien 3, Prometheus, Resurrection.

Can't wait for this one...
