Also thought Phoenix was shit. Quality was poor at best.
For me it was quality of image and sound. Get HD and flawless sound on my IPTV sub but not on phoenix.
Phoenix is free and as SiE said it has held up very well with Premier league pass streams as part of the addon showing every game in hd. No freezing no dead links....how long will it last ? Who knows.

It actually is often better than the streams available. Give it a go. You can install kodi on pretty much anything these days. I have a prem ad addon installed on kodi as well.

Ive always turned my nose up to free streams lol, been a xbmc/kodi user from the xbox days. And rarely bothered with navi x and all the other popular addons over the years.
Sounds like things have moved on.
The ONLY downside, as you know SIE prem ad is locked to new users, if i dont resub when it runs out, wonder how long they keep your slot
I went 6 months without resubbing when I went to a plex iptv sub. They never removed my login.

Thanks again Geko for the tip on the MAG250 sub. I have mine up and running now with a full Sky package and tons of Sky packages from other EU countries.
The MAG250 rocks! So much easier and quicker to use than an Android box with KODI. One time set-up and it is literally a set-top box with a great remote to boot.
Came to €58 (£44) for a years sub. Absolutely laughing!

Can you use a single sub on two boxes... I know in comparison to $ly it is a single months full sub for two Mag250 subs, but would be good to know.
No problem, so same as the F5 solution.
I am having issues with my $ly boxes (LNB issue I think I have narrowed it down too). Think I might live with the issues for now and what I was going to pay for a call out, seek alternative methods.
Best place to to buy?
I guess it would depend on the provider. My one does have 25 channels which appear to be on demand movies but there is no EPG so you don't know what's on until you start the channel.
I know of others that do have proper video on demand but wouldn't know which I'm afraid.

There is no comparison between IPTV and CS. They are too different, both have pros and cons. Although I prefer IPTV since HD was blocked and at £50 a year, it is a bargain. The sub I have has 900 channels, for example.
If you want on demand, there are other options for that for a couple of quid per month.
anyone got links for providers that do preimer league football the 3pms on IPTV, I can get a euro server for cs for 4 months at £30, but don't get all the games, so wondering if its time to get an MX quad from ebay and a IPTV football sub,
tried setting up my vu+ solo2 for kodi, but always get PVR missing errors, been at it for hours, so will just buy a MX Quad if I get IPTV sub
i am not sure why anyone would pay for football ... i have watched every West Brom Premiership game live this season and 90% have been hd quality ... the Prem league pass in Robocop and the live games in Phoenix always deliver quality streams and every game is available ?

I just thought you had to pay to get the football, bit like streaming the free channels from the net are ok, but just ok
