I was thinking of putting one of my dashcams on the back window of the car, but the problem is, it is a saloon, and there is no rear window wiper.
What that of course means, is when it is raining - and especially raining and the car is stationary, at say, traffic lights, or generally queues, the rain on the back window means there is not enough of a clear view because all that water stops a small dashcam camera being able to see through it.
So, is there anything (cheap) on the market out there that can be attached to the outside at the very top of the back window to create an area where the rain is stopped from reaching the glass, that would allow my dashcam (it's small) on the inside at the top to be able to see through a "patch" if you will? Something small and the same principle as a wind deflector like you would put on your side windows but to do the job of keeping water away from a 3 or 4 inch "window" in the window?
Might sound an odd request, but aside from getting a rear wiper fitted (costly and would look odd) I can't think of anything to get this effect so thought I'd ask the (daftish?) question here!
Bilbo.
