My 3 contract is up and they have offered me these phones with same payment, so i just wanted to ask members...
Which one is best, which one should i choose?
Or maybe you recommend some other handset.
Samsung Galaxy S5
Samsung Note 3
Something else

Wouldnt go for the note 3 as the note 4 was announced a few days ago, s5 aint all that great either imo, few tweaks and shite gimicks is the only thing that changes it from the s4
Had the z2 before the s5 which id rate far better, although the camera issue forced me to send it back as i take a lot of pics, z3 isnt to far away either
The note 4 looks good but "3" may not be doing any deals for that yet.. that said the note 3 is no slouch.
Bear in mind the Note 3 is really a "phablet" and may not suit you in terms of size with a 5.7 inch screen
supe
Is the S5 that bad?
I'm on the S4 Mini and it'll cost me £50 to upgrade early to the S5. I really miss the CPU power of the S3 full size, the S4 mini just seems a lite alternative.
"That's why I fucked your bitch you fat mother fucker"
S5 is a cracking phone dont get me wrong, the extras they added though in the upgrade from s4 to s5 to me were worthless (apart from it being waterproof, but again that could be classed as useless to me as ive never managed to water damage any of my phones)
The finger print scanner and heart rate monitor ive never used apart from when i first got it
Galaxy S5. Amazing phone. Will never EVER look at another phone other than a Samsung Galaxy. Yes they come preloaded with crap which can be removed but they do come loaded with some good extras. I got 50gb of dropbox space for getting the S5 along with 6 months free deezer. Cant argue.
The phone itself it very well designed, even the finger print scanner is more effective since the last update was rolled out. Battery life? Spot on.
Used to be Sammy here too til I reverted back to HTC.
HTC One M8 is a cracking handset and with phenomenal battery life.
My boy just got the LG G3, nice phone, great feartures, huge screen, very poor battery life.
I don't mind Sammys, the rest of my family have either S3's or S4's, but I wanted to be superior, so broke the mould and opted for the HTC. Love it.
I too have the 50GB Dropbox from Samsung purely by resetting my sons phone, adding my account to it, activated the freebie and then logged into my Dropbox on my HTC. Win.
Id say LG G3. I upgraded from my HTC One M7 a couple of months ago and its ace. Im finding the total opposite about the battery its a massive improvement over the HTC. The screen is amazing and the camera is so much better thanthe HTC. The circle case is nice as well but the HTC M8 has that amazing dot case! Id say the LG though
Deja vu & livesytowers what are the camera's like on the phones you mentioned?
Camera on the LG is really good. It wasnt too great on the HTC. The M8 uses the same camera with some extra lense which is what stopped me from getting one. It just wasnt enough of an upgrade for me. The LG feels like a proper upgrade. M8 is still a good phone though.
another vote for the LG G3 here, camera is razor sharp and quick with the laser focus, i always found the S5 pics too over sharpened once you started pixel peeping. My G3 is getting two days on a charge with moderate to heavy use. Wireless charging is a real plus as is the quick circle case. The UI is clean and relatively bloat free compared to other android phones.

Deja vu says his lads G3 has poor battery life, AH says his G3 lasts 2 days with lots of usage lol
I don't see whats funny all depends what he's using, my screen on time has been no less than 62% hrs over the 2 days and thats everything on and mostly on wifi at work and home. I always follow the same ritual when buying a new phone, full charge for 8 hours and then over the next few days it's discharged to zero. Always helped condition the battery and it's been rooted since i got it.
I wasn't trying to be funny i just thought it was funny that one person said the battery life was crap and another said it was excellent, apologies if it came across as if i was making light of it.
Rooting it will probably help. The biggest drain on the LG is the screen. If you have the brightness on full it looks amazing but drains the battery. I have mine on 50% which is perfect for in door use and it has always lasted the full day. 2 days would be impossible for me.
Phones are very subjective. I hate Samsungs so would never get one even if it was the "best" phone.
z2 was the bollocks concerning camera (when it worked) and battery, had to send mine back due to camera over heating, wish id of stuck with it over the s5 now though
i went from a galaxy note 1 to a z2 and cant believe the battery mine is connected to my smartband all the time so bluetooth allways on 4g and location allways on and i use it to track my route two and from work and after a ful day i am still on 70% battery the phone is really quick i have had it since release and never had a problem with my camera it got a little warm when i filmed in 4k for about 5 mins but it kept going camera is great on it, its a really great phone i wasnt sure when i went from my sammy to it but so glad i did now
My boys still moaning about the battery life on his G3.
He's only had it since Saturday. Reading around in different places gives completely different reviews on the battery life, so must be due to how they're used.
It was fully charged last night, my boys at work all day today (no excuse, he'll still be on his phone all day!) and I'll report back in a bit how its getting on today.
