Woke up sunday mornin to find a very quiet house........which is strange.... considering I have two kids.....checked there room no sign of them ...checked the sitting room...... no sign of them.....so I called them.....so my four your old son shouts "we're in the bathroom daddy".... went up stairs to the bath room and low and behold there's my son washing my brand new Game Cube in the bath...... he said it was all dirty.... Sniff Sniff........ and that he wanted to get all the dust of it.....

letting it dry out now.....but the chances of it working are slim to none..... fell my pain

sorry to hear about the (now very clean) gamecube fella, but gotta say, has made me chuckle

I'm gonng go around shrink-wrapping all my consoles now to make sure the same thing doesn't happen here. or perhaps attach life-jackets to them all

time to put that accidental damage clause in your insurance to the test!

if its fully dried out and so is the power then id say theres a good chance itll be fine. i once had a one of my dreamcasts get a right soakin after wed had a leaking roof and the dreamcast had been sitting rigth under where the torrent was coming in, popped it ona towel on its side over night and lo and behold it worked first time

you will need to take it apart as much as possible and let the parts dry out for a few days atleast, i was bought a DC that had water in it but the bloke had left if a few days and the chip legs were all mouldy and it was DOA really. i later found out it was infact his dog that had pi$$ed on it

Well lads.....I tried it this mornin just before I went to work......
it powered up ok......but it woudn't read the disk.....stuck in my CD cleaner disk and hey presto it workerd Happy Days.........

my nieces and nephews were around for the weekend, ofcourse they wanted to play on the gamecube, SSbM at 1st so i said ok, they then continued to go through my games untill they came to zelda (windwaker) and so they started to play. i saw them playing and created a new game for them. well i put it on last night cos i was on the last part of the triforce shards and ready for the final battle with Ganon. (as you can tell i was really looking forward to kicking his arse)
well you probably guessed itby now...................................all my saves had gone, eek what a fcukin nightmare.

well i will start over again sometime tonight, on the bright side i should piss through it now.
