Haha cheers Paul. I have never been as fit as she is. She went to Darwen and swam in the Preston championship straight after.

I'm knackered just reading that and looking at pics. Deffo well done to Poppy
Just use enough water to cover your vegetables, the same goes for when you're having a bath....
Well done Poppy a respectable time as well.
I shoot loads of triathlons and the effort that goes in is incredible to swim then get on a bike then run after never mind the ones who do the ironman which is this weekend I think in Bolton.
Not sure if you want advise on your photos but it could help improve your future photos? but this is how I aim to shoot if possible.
Get down lower and shoot from there makes them look bigger.
Shoot with a long lens and get them coming at you head on so it includes her face. include the whole bike and feet to head and keep shooting as they come towards you getting knees up and half body, its strange but the half body shot does seem to be the most popular for both running and bike so the handlebars up on a bike shot.
Triathletes like to seem themselves in full flight so yes the feet off the ground when running and when on the bike tucked and as aerodynamic as possible. Easiest way to achieve both is to shoot them coming down hill as their stride increases so more air time.
But what is wanted does vary, in the past they seemed to want photos going up hill, bike on angles as they put the effort in and strain in their faces but not now they want things looking easy but fast.
Haha you make out like I can't use a camera John. Hahahahahaha. My wife took these with her iPhone.
My boss is doing the Outlaw Ironman in Nottingham on Sun - Frigging nutter ;-)
