Yup..... I guess they did this as they shelved the film...... still looking forward to it either way !
Does this still star Sutherland?
Just watched Pompeii, the film and he are fucking awful
It's still Sutherland. He and the girl who plays his daughter were here at the beginning of the year promoting it. Sounds like it'll be a good yin. I stopped watching near the beginning of series 4 (that was dire).
Do you need to have watched the subsequent series before watching this one? Like, if someone started watching 24 from series 2 they would have no idea thatSpoiler:
There were things that may have been a little confusing if you hadnt watched previous but not much really.....
You could easily pick up season 5 for example and enjoy it without watching the previous ones
Can't wait for this. Downloaded and watched the preview show of the series that was on in the US. According to the director they've filmed it so you don't need to have any prior knowledge. The stunts look amazing and plenty of new weapons

I hope they don't run out of ideas half way through like in previous series. I'm sure I read this one is only 12 episodes though.
Didn't know they had filmed another season of 24. I'm now looking forward to viewing this.
For some reason thought BT Youview had a bolt on for SKY1, looks like I'm having to wait until it becomes available on-line.
Will have a look at preview show that spilsz watched prior to watching.
Was online yesterday (usual places) as I downloaded it yesterday ready to watch tonight.

Watched both episodes last night. I'll not give anything away on plot but even after these two episodes, it's clear they should have left it be.

u do know there was 2 shows shown!!!
I'm a massive 24 fan and was really looking forward to this. Watched the double episode last night and thought it was terrible. Gutted !
Also a 24 fan and have to agree, the new plot is a bit thin with the new ones... Mind you, doesn't all the seasons start off that way and part way through a huge twist is introduced?
Will continue to watch in hope...

Yvonne Strahovski (Hannah McKay in Dexter) is always a bonus
Well I loved it. Jack Bauer is the man!
