Well where to start. Born in Bolton moved to Rochdale. Been playing with xbmc for a little over a year. Got pretty good at it now, fancy learning the art of skybox lol.

I can contribute to the xbmc part of the forum. I am guessing that its within the raspberry pi section. I would like to learn about the skybox type of things but then I would be able to teach others. It has been pointed out that I am close to my 8 posts so until tomorrow. I would like to carry on this conversation with you.

Post count boosting is one thing. Making meaningful contributions to the site is another. The Post Count Rule is to stop leeches from spamming the site just to reveal what they want before they can bugger off and never return. It's not there to stop valuable members being restrained. If your posts are just drivel, they may be deleted or merged into one.
Here's an example
If you came on here to share your fantastic information you've learnt about XBMC/IceFilms/Mashup/Plex Sharing or new information about the Skybox F5S none of us were aware of (good luck with that!) and would like to share an interesting tutorial post - you become an instantly valued member.
However, if have come here just to learn all about what we can teach you about the Skybox F5S...

DF has been the victim of many-a-leech (digital-forums.com/showthread.php/952087 <- paste in browser) and we are now mega stringent on sharing knowledge willy-nilly.
That said, Welcome to DF Stuart.

Welcome to Digital Forums. Forum etiquette is quite high on the list here, like in real life you treat others with respect and you equally get it back. Contributing to the threads with good constructive posts gets you noticed for all the good reasons. with time your post count will go up and you will have full use of the forum. This has been put in place to stop Spammers,Leechers and generally 1 post users that want something for nothing, they try and get it and go.
Digital forums has been going years and has a large fan base. some actually pay for the privilege and they get bonuses over non sub people. With time you will build up friends and likewise you will be seen here as someone that can contribute to the DF Community.
