    Default River Tyne at Night

    I met up with Neo and DP last weekend for wander along the Tyne (not all of it). Great to meet another DF'r although the wife says I should stop meeting up with strange men from 't'internet....LOL

    Anyway here is a few shots I took.

    The first 2 are tip top mate, not sure the third works with the church tower looking a little soft.

    Great shots Bod. Was good to meet up with you guys.

    Newcastle definitely has lots of opportunities for photographs. Taking a lead from you and Neo, some of my shots look very much like yours

    I have to admit, I scrapped my shots of the clock tower, that light on the left just played havoc with my images.

    First one is my favourite. I don't like the 3rd one. The light on the bridge ruins it.

    Thanks for the comments......Yeah I actually have some shots without the streetlamp as well, but I couldn't deceide if I liked the light burst from it on not

    lol....good idea actually, we have photographed that part of the Tyne to death. Do you know any nice spots on the Wear.

    @ bod - u got a pont m8, the wear is a little bland tbh but i am sure a man with your talents could do someting with the area around Alexandra bridge or maybe a little further along the river where it passes through coxgreen?

    loving the shots can even pick out the start of caliope in my inebriated state. like the sage and baltic too. with sunderland you would struggle to get any good shots in... in my personal opinion.

    I think you would get some great shots in Durham. There's the river, bridges,the cathedral and castle, statues and monuments etc.
