Try and reset your network settings (Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings). It will wipe ONLY your network stuff clean (so all saved WIFI passwords will be gone).
Works quite well whenever I have problems with networks.

Try rebooting, my one does the same thing sometimes, I just reboot and it works again as soon as the phone boots up.

It only started doing this after I jailbroke it.

I have to reboot mine occasionally because it wont pick up a wifi signal. It seems as tho SB setting kept turning it off as whenever I turned it on shut down SB setting Then went back it the WIFI would be off again.

Haven't tried it yet but will give it a go later, I read on the apple forums that it could be a hardware fault?

I had similar issues with a Netgear router - it just wouldn't talk to channels 13 or 6 from memory - 1 and 11 worked fine though!

I had a similar problem a few weeks ago. Strangly it just righted itself after a while. No idea why or how it started

when you're on the network list, hit the blue arrow on the right hand side, alongside your network name and hit forget this network. Reboot (all the way off - hold power then slide - then back on) and re-connect as if it were a new network. Had this exact same problem with a wlan at work but this helped. ymmv.

when i hit the blue arrow i have no option of "forget this network" just comes up with IP adress and three tabs DHCP, BootP and Static.
The problem is that its not even connect to my home wifi because it keeps saying unable to connect. i type in the Name, security is WPA and then the password, once i click join thats when it says unable to join and i have no option but to cancel.

When you get the page with the three tabs, it should say just above that to 'forget this network'
