Default Sciphone - iphone 4 copy

A guy has just brought one of these into my shop.

It's an iphone 4 copy dual sim. He was dead proud saying it cost £120.

The only thing it has going for it is the dual sim. Otherwise it's horrid. Rather than touch screen, it's 'press hard' screen, the camera is shit, the GUI looks like a 12 year old has knocked it out in his bedroom.

    Waste of bloody money.

lol.. a friend of mine had one and it couldn't even pick up a network..the battery lasts 5 mins and the charger that came with it is bloody dangerous!
... I tried everything on it.. funnily enough I told him to give it to a kid to use as a toy..lol..

You really need to wonder at some people eh? I had an argument years ago with a guy at work who said my N95 was fake because it never had a touchscreen or could take dual sims. Idiot. Like you said, this thing was an embarrassment - VGA camera, stylus holder glued onto the side, the works. Complete waste of money.

Aye, these things are pants. My dad picked up a few in China for £30 a pop... still has one sitting there - gave the rest away.

In my honest opinion, the best iPhone clone out there is a Samsung Galaxy S!

They had a load of these in the tech market in Delhi for pennies. They were priced at about £30 but you could haggle them down to next to nothing. They are pretty bad. Lots of bugs in the software and no after sales support to speak of.

All these Chinese phones take two sim cards which is a great feature and I wish handsets in other countries would do this (Orange did one handset years ago that would do it IIRC).

Also bear in mind that quite a few of these imports have no IMEI so will not work in a lot of countries. Governments around the world are trying to stop the sale of these handsets as they are widely used by terrorists as they are not easily traceable. I think they are blocking handsets with no IMEI in India this year at some point to try and combat it.
