    Ooo i neglected retro thread

Well i'm currently playing two retro remakes, so i'll link them again here to see if I can start the ball rolling a bit

N.O.M.A.D http://www.tcksoft.co.uk/news.php a remake for the speccy game of the same name as made by tck here on the board

and typhoon 2001 http://typhoon.kuto.de/ a tempest / tempest 2000 remake which dirty girl recommended and linked to in a thread in the puzzle section

Both games are excellent and should be experienced for those unfamiliar with the originals, and are worth checking out by those already fans

    I often play

    Chuckie Egg

And just recently resurected Super Aleste for the SNES.

Also to add, if people consider the DC a retro console, I have just been leant one and making my way through the Sonic games.

    Cheers....Q

Yes, Typhoon2001 is tops... excellent and free (PC download link above). I love it to bits.

Geowars (xbox 360 and PC) is also very good, but bloody hard! Link to Google Vid...

I am back on Penguin Land on the MS (emu on PC) went back to it last night, not sure if i will have this going until completion like i did before. Tempted to dig out Klax for the MD as well

Also had a spell of Chips Challenge (PC version) but always get fed up with that as it si too much of a repeat and i can never get passed a certain maze type level.

    Cheers.....Q

I'm mostly playing small online games at the moment as the missus won't allow me to fire up the 360.

Right now it's Hunger Strike, which is similar to Tower Defense: http://www.bigdaddyboxmeal.co.uk. Won't make me want to eat the thing, though. I almost have bad dreams about beans after playing it.
