Excellent iphone 4 video converter

Was looking for something to convert videos easily into iphone 4 standard and hd quality.
Came across iskysoft video converter, http://www.iskysoft.com/video-converter-windows.html

has settings for loads of mobiles including the iphone 4 and an iphone 4 HD mode.

The quality of the encodes are excellent and it is really simple to use.

I converted a 720p mkv file, cropped it down to 4 minutes (just to test the quality, and cropped within the program) file size was large at just under 100mb for the 4 mins but was very impressive.

Also came across a few other programs that had a very similar interface but the conversions just wouldn't work, I would get only sound and no video.

Just letting you know incase anyone is looking for something similar.

have a play with handbrake as well m8 its got all the profiles you need and its a nice comination of pretty quick, light on your system resources and free

casio only managed to set resolution on handbrake to 640*480 as with iskysoft video converter you 1280*720. unless im doing something wrong on handbrake.

casio I tried handbrake a while ago but just couldnt get a decent enough quality. They may have recently updated the profiles but I havent tried it within the last month or so. iskysoft makes it so easy and the quality is really impressive.

its not your settings fellas its me, I forgot that the iphone4 has such a change to the resolution, I still havent made the jump to the new iphone and sometimes I forget.

there is a way to get it to out put the right size for the new iphone though (both 960x640 and 1280x720 mentioned above) when you load your file into it select either the iphone/ipod touch or High Profile then you can change the resolution up or down by clicking on the width setting in the picture tab

if you're wanting to output a 640x480 video at 1280x720 it wont up convert but it will down sample

You can only do 3 minute videos in the free version.
