Never really missed it tbh, despite being a VIP there. Still, its an extra resource for the hard to find stuff.

Although nzb matrix is pretty good it still doesn't have a raw search feature like newzbin or binsearch and doesn't allow certain warez to be posted. IMO newzbin was always the best but I don't trust the nee site. Never really used merlins portal as most posts from there ended up on newzbin anyway. NZB Dogs was a good one for UK music charts and multi DVDs, not sure if they are still going.

I use matrix now but really don't like it a great deal if I am honest. I had my Entourage rss go fucking crazy last night and try to download 4 pages of nzbs. I used to like the lay out of merlins so may have a look again.

Well seeing as after Merlins went down last time the email address I used for registration got hacked I don't think I will be signing up again!
Glad I just use a shitty generic email for sign-ups.

I lost my VIP status on one of the times he had his database hacked and never noticed any difference apart from losing the xxx parts
