Great Start but it should have been last seasons finale. After the demise of the Governor, last season the show had too many filler episodes to pad out the season until they got to Terminus

Be interesting to see if they introduce Nagen from the comics into the series, he makes the governor look like mother theresa

Apart from a couple of good episodes, last season felt like a bit of a let down. However, this season has kicked off with a bang! And a big one! (Pun intended)

I had myself confused as the Walking Dead way tends to be milking it, it felt like the whole season was summed up in this one episode. As it started like that I'm looking forward to see where it goes. Also one thing that always annoyed me was how they discovered in season 1 you can wear zombie guts and be safe, in season 2 you see you can cut their hands and jaw and they act as a cloaking device but until now they hadn't used it to their advantage again!

I'm positive that Rick won't survive the entire run of TWD, but I imagine that the showrunners are hesitant about killing him off too soon as (I assume) he's the main reason people tune in.

He will survive as long as Andrew Lincoln wants to be in the show.
