Default Multiple public IP addresses on 1 router

    Hi All,

I have a potential customer who runs a ebay business selling phone accessories, he has multiple ebay/paypal accounts. Currently they are using dongles on different laptops to stop the same IP detection as they cannot function without ebay and the lose of an account would stop them trading.

I plan to provide them with a BT Fibre connection with a block of 5 IP addresses but am unsure on the best method of serving the 10 laptop users.

They have 5 ebay accounts and 10 laptops.
Each public IP needs to be associated with 2 laptops.
Connections will be made via wifi.

I think the above will work but have never had to configure anything like this before. I want to be sure before I send out the quote. Can anyone help?

Not being funny but eBay and Paypal will catch them out.
There is nothing stop you from having multiple eBay accounts, but Paypal don't allow you to have multiple accounts.
If you get a block of IP's its going to be pretty obvious the accounts are linked. My advise here would be this is not the sort of client you want, has trouble written all over it.

Utterly agree, although all will be public IP's they will all be on the same router which will be a public gateway IP it will be completely obvious and ban will happen.

    Thanks to neilcritc

Why don't they use multiple tor browser windows with differed IDs?

I found tor browser to be quite slow, I think I will leave them with their dongles. Thanks for the advise guys.

The only idea I can think of which hasn't been mentioned would be a multi wan router with 5 different wan lines, preferably from different providers. Not cheap but it would work.

Going in another direction, you could set up a lan to allow sharing of resources while leaving them using 3g for the net.
