Rant With any film involving time travel......

If it doesn't work the first time.....then go back and try it again!!!! You have a TIME MACHINE!! You can go back and try to sort it/do it 100 times until you get it right!

    derrrrrr.......

    Stupid sci-fi....

Oh, and while we're on the subject....if someone is seemingly 'dead', or 'out of phase' or something, and they can walk through walls and chairs and tables and things...how come they can walk on the floor and not fall through it?? Eh??

And another thing....if you're trying to defeat your seemingly unbeatable enemy for an entire series....or even multiple series...then why, in the penultimate episode do you say 'Oh yes, there is this device in such and such a place/country/planet which will complete defeat our foe......I didn't mention it before, because, errrrr.........I'm an idiot'.

One last thing.....if you are a bad guy, and you want to remain safe....make sure that when your security staff have a 'shift change', that the new guy arrives 5 minutes before the current one finishes!! If the current guy leaves before the new one arrives, then your place will be vulnerable for the 5 minutes that there is no security!!!! Hire a better security firm!

lol....the third paragraph is certainly stargate inspired. The show should just be renamed as deus ex machina, and be done with it....

I guess you cant go back as you would already be there and that would create some sort of paradox, then the world explodes. Wasnt there some explanation in Dr who once, that you cant go back and mess with events you have been involved in before (thinking about the Time War thing)

No more than going back the first time and seeing yourself. Think of Back to the future, Mart goes back again doesn't he?

Funny, I was just watching Family Guy Series 7 and one of the episodes is a Back to the Future rip off (funny of course!!).

I thought to myself, rather than go back again to undo what you originally did to change the future adversely, why not go back to the time you nearly went back originally and stop yourself from doing it... But if you think about that more it has flaws...

Also, I have been watching the Sarah Connor Chronicles (Season 2). Fuck me! If I was not a Terminator fan I would have ditched it a long time ago!!

I'd just go back again, walk up to the previous me and high-5 myself (mandatory), and just say 'Don't worry dude, the way you're doing it isn't going to work, so I've come back to try again. Carry on as you would have, safe in the knowledge that it won't work, and you'll come back again and give it another go. Boy, you good looking.'
