I'm paying £25 a month for long wear daily disposables from Specsavers.
Are there any cheaper alternative places to buy contacts?
How much are you guys paying and from where?

Try these,
http://www.daysoftcontactlenses.com/
Mine cost around £13 including shipping.
Ive been using them for 2 years and had no problems ( Touch wood ) however a friend tried them and said they made her eyes dry up after 6 hours use. just used Eyedrops when needed.

I get mine from contactlenses.co.uk
The Specsavers ones are usually rebranded anyway and they do most here but a load cheaper.
I get their own brand 'Crystal' lenses, daily disposables. They cost £7 for a box of of 30.

been using http://www.daysoftcontactlenses.com/ for about 3-4 years now. £12.49 a month for a pack of 30 pack of daily disposables, no issues with my eyes drying out. would recommend them.

I've been using http://www.getlenses.co.uk/ since someone on here posted the link in a simular thread, very cheap and never had an issue.
Only in Britain….do we use the word “politics” to describe the process of Government. “Poli” in Latin meaning “many” and “tics” meaning “bloodsucking
creatures”

Another for daysoftlenses. Always deliverd in a few days, never gone missing or arrived damaged and at 12.50 a lot cheaper than specsavers. Also each months supply is actually 32 so always a couple of spares. Generally i can wear them from 5.30am untill about 10.30pm before i find them to dry

I use Asda, I wear the 30 day ones that you sleep in. So I only need 12 pairs but generally get over 12 months out of them. Lensplanet I paid £155 for 12 months worth.

Another day soft fan here - great service and prices - apparently the guy who started the company developed a way to make contact lenses cheaper which was bought by one of the big names. He was disappointed they didn't pass any savings on to the customer so when his agreement not to compete expired, he set up daysodt.
I found I was getting dry eyes with the silk lenses they give you by default, changed to the other (classic?) and get on fine with them

What do the people that buy online do about aftercare checks? I've been with my optician for 20 odd years and gone through monthly to daily disposals, they charge £90 for 90 pairs but that includes regular vision and eye health checks

i only use them when out on piss and then only use monovision so a pack last me a year so end up paying 20 quid for eye checks

I pay £15 per month at Specsavers for the 30 day constant wear lens - I put them in at the start of the month and take them out and change at the end of the month) - cost also includes eye test every 2 years and 1/4 checks.

How long were you wearing glasses before switching to contacts? (if at all)
