I tried loads of different ones but never found any as good as menthol for the throat hit.

What juices are you using? I just tend to whack the power up on my itaste svd to increase the hit I get seems to work

what power settings are you vaping your juices at?, some taste better at lower watts/volts and some at higher, try going up and down in small increments on your vamo, I have a protank 1, I don`t know what the newer version is like, but they were well known for good vapour but muted taste

been going through a whole range of power settings and as BB says Menthol is really the only one that has any kick.

This may not be a good idea but I'm thinking of adding some Olbas oil into the mix too.

I'm sure some of that with a healthy dose of menthol crystals will either blow my socks off or kill me.

you need to get into steeping matey, especially for bought mixes.
As some have mentioned on here previously, it's much better to stay at least a month ahead of when you need to use a juice,
Some sites do sell pre steeped liquids too.
It's easy enough to do, just pop the lid and nipple off the bottle and put it somewhere warmish (window cill in the sun, or airing cupboard and leave them for a week or three,
this can really make a difference to the flavour.
You can speed up the process by standing the bottle in warm water,numerous times but this requires some dedication and to be honest, lifes too short for that shit
I've read that some users use one of those sonic jewellery cleaners to steep in and also slow cookers too!

B ut in summary, steeping can turn a piss weak mix into something very different, if you have the time

I don't fit into that cat mate. I stopped smoking about 12 years ago and now I'm just playing at vaping with 0 nicotine juices.

That's interesting. I've not met anyone that's got into vaping just for the vape. Plenty of people that that have weaned themselves down to zero nic though. Some of them put capsicum in the mix for the throat hit that's often missing with zero nic.

just tried in on 1 to 4 ratio with some vanilla custard and a few tiny scoops of menthol crystal.

My head is buzzing to say the least. I feel pretty fucking stoned.

All good fun though.

To be honest I think I went a bit OTT last night and need to reign myself back in again. I think I'm going to have to look at Blackbelts suggestion of steeping.

Although being an impatient bugger I think may still have play at adding some flavourings.

I've been fucking around Madagascan Vanilla extract and a Rum flavouring from Sainsburys tonight with mixed results.

I really want to get a good liquorice taste sometime in the future too.

I'm going to be on the road this week so hopefully I can raid some mini bars for sample materials.
Just wondering on the plonk side of things if it would be possible to put yourself over the drink driving limit ?
