rare find in theses parts

don't see these in the north west in fact there seldom seen in england they mainly migrate over winter to northern europe and can be seen in scotland sometimes but for some reason there flocking in england probablly due to a food shortage in their normal countries

there known as waxwings a fantastic looking bird and a great oppertunity to photograph them totaly wild

the first one might be a little soft due to the close cropping
i see jays quite often round here and have quite a few photo's of them ther usually a shy creature
the waxwings were taken near clitheroe just off the a59
