4s back screen replacement.

Hi fellas

Wife just dropped her phone front screen is done however back one is completely fucked.
Looked on eBay for cost for replacement screens there cheap enough so what I want to know is how hard are we talking to replace it??

5 minute job mate, unscrew the two screws and slide it upwards to release the panel then reverse to lock the new one into place.

I was worried about the camera and anything that would be connected to the back screen

Just had a look on ifixit.com
Really seems easy enough.
I'm going to order the back panel tonight from eBay and take it from there.

Any you guys recommend a good seller??

A bit fiddly but as long as u have Patience, its fairly straight forward. Follow the guide on youtube.

Murder unless you have eyes of a hawk as the screws are minuscule.

You get it done for under 40 quid on ebay that's what i done with my last one.

I replaced my old man's screen on his iPhone 4 the other week, it was a lot less hassle than I imagined. I decided to use a dinner tray with a piece of A4 paper taped to it with strips of double sided tape stuck to that to keep the screws in roughly the same location that they came out of the phone, took 40 minutes altogether. I then replaced one for my sister in law last week and completed it in half the time

The rear piece is literally a 30 second job, 2 screws and swap

the apple store don't even charge that. I got a plain acrylic one and as people say above 5 min job.
