3D Dot Game Heroes

I just searched and couldn't find a reference to this, but gotta say I'm loving it. I just rented it from lovefilm and can see me keeping hold of this for aaages. It's basically the retro zelda from the 8 bit days, with 3d version of 8 bit graphics.

The graphics, although may look simple to start with are lovely, no screenshot does them justice, and it makes you laugh when you see how huge his sword is in the game

It's a must-play for any fans of retro RPG's, and a real breath of fresh air

Love this game, has a real feel of Zelda link to the past on the SNES, even the music is similar.

Haven't bothered making my own character as i don't have the patience but it's definately a hidden gem for the ones that remember old school RPG's.

his was the first game I got, just for its quirky style but i wasn't expecting it to be any good, I was pleaseantly surprised. On a slightly similar tip, try half minute hero on the PSP.

Well I don't know how many copies they have, but Ive yet to send mine back....got the 500gb hard drive fitted, fitted the inline power switch, got the usb pendrive ready, but still not received my jailbreak dongle. Tut.

Just starting out on this and I quite like it, didn't think I would but it kinda makes me all smiley when I'm playing it. Funnily enough I keep thinking how far removed it is from demon's souls but still enjoyable as it's not all about top notch graphics and stuff it's gameplay that counts and this has plenty in an old skool kind of way.
